Sunny Thursday

Today was a great day with warm and sunny weather here in Bothell. Owen went for a stroller ride to the park and enjoyed watching the kids play and seeing the ducks at a nearby pond. Pretty soon he will be back to sliding and swinging himself!

Most of the time, Owen acts like his old self. He was happy most of the day, and laughed quite a bit--the first time since the surgery. He was crawling and starting to pull up a little as well. He is a little bit slower in his pace, but not much. He is basically just on over-the-counter pain medicines now.

We are slowly getting back into our regular routines. Most of the day was spent catching up on mundane things such as grocery shopping, laundry, yard work, and phone calls.

Praise the Lord! What wonderful news. Owen's laughter must be music to your ears. God has smiled on you not only with sunny weather but the sunshine of Owen's recovery.

Lord, we continue to thank you for your healing of Owen and your goodness to the family. We look to you for continued and complete healing. Thank you for everyone who has shown love and support to Jon and Amy and family. Thank you that you hear and answer prayers. In Jesus' name, amen.

Can't wait to hear him laugh.

Love,
Grandma Tea and Papa Harris

How wonderful to be back in your own beds! We're so happy that Owen was able to enjoy a walk in today's sunny weather. Praise the Lord for all he has done and is still to do. The Fisks

What wonderful, amazing news! I prayed before you went down to Children's that the Lord would be clearly seen in you and that His power and protection would be clearly seen in little Owen's surgery and recovery, and I'm praising Him this morning for answering prayer! Amy, this is your mom's cousin, Dianne. :-) Thanks so much for posting, both of you, and letting us share in this journey. Hooray!!! Love to you all!

Sometimes the mundane things of life are refreshing. Praying you have energy for the tasks and are able to sleep well. We are off to VA for spring break to visit the Stewarts. We'll be out of touch but know we continue to lift you all up in prayer.

Love,
Caroline
